Lion’s Den: The Perfect Parent/Teacher Alliance
Curriculum and Movie Night

Dear Parents and Guardians:
We are trying something new this year. Metro Prep Academy is hosting their inaugural – Lion’s Den: The Perfect Parent/Teacher Alliance.
Curriculum and course expectations will be discussed during a presentation by each department, held in the SMITH Studio (Drama room). As an informal meet and greet, parents and teachers will be afforded the opportunity to connect and forge powerful relationships to help steer the course of their child’s educational path. This night is meant to be fun and interactive; it is not a private parent-teacher meeting where student marks or personal information will be discussed. Students are welcome to be at the school during the presentations but they will be participating in a scavenger hunt while the “adults are talking.”
Following the presentations, SMITH invites all attendees, including students, to our front lawn to enjoy an outdoor screening of “Meet the Parents.” Popcorn, coffee and treats will be provided BUT you have to bring your own lawn chair and blanket (we can’t do everything – lol).

Please note: Friday, September 27, will be a half day with 12:25pm lunch (Jamaican Patties) and dismissal at 1:20pm
