Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
We hope that everyone is having a safe and healthy Christmas break. Because of the recent lockdown announcement by the Government of Ontario, Metro Prep will need to continue teaching classes online via Zoom. We will not be able to resume in-class instruction on January 4 as we had originally planned.
From Monday January 4 until Monday January 18 inclusive, most teachers and all students will remain at home and use live Zoom sessions for all classes on all days. Final examinations will start on Tuesday January 19.
Regular class times will not change. Any assessments to be completed over this period will be done though Edsby.
Please note that the final exams will also be conducted online, and they will follow the schedule that was posted on Edsby.
If there are books in your locker that you must have, please contact the school next week and we will arrange a time when you can come to pick them up.
In-class instruction will commence on February 1, 2021 for the beginning of the Winter/Spring semester.
Parents/guardians please note there will be staff in the building each day over the next 4 weeks, in case you have any questions or need to pick something up.
