Dear Parents and Guardians,

To the best of our knowledge, very few of our students have travelled to China during the Coronavirus outbreak. We do not anticipate this to be an issue but are asking our families, students, guardians and agents to take the following precautions:

• If you have traveled to China in the last 2 weeks, please isolate yourself for the 14 days after arrival in Canada, and do not attend school.
• If your family members/guardian/agent have visited from China, please make sure you and your family/guardian/agent isolate yourselves for the 14 days after arrival in Canada, and do not attend school.
• Immediately inform Metropolitan Preparatory Academy if you or anyone in your household are experiencing fever or respiratory symptoms.
• Any student who has recently travelled to China, before enrolling in Second Semester, must provide his/her passport as proof of entry date into Canada.

With the start of the new semester, Metropolitan Preparatory Academy is taking the following preventative measures against the Coronavirus:

• We encourage frequent hand washing. Disinfectants and hand sanitizers will be available in all classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Our custodial and teaching staff will ensure that shared surfaces are wiped down and disinfected frequently.
• Any student who is ill is required to stay at home.

For all other students, the school will continue as per schedule.
